Parkinson's Disease
More than voice
Parkinson's disease can affect speech, voice and swallowing — and with it, the conversations, connections and confidence that matter most. Natalie works with people with Parkinson's in Mosman and across Sydney to help improve communication, swallowing, participation and confidence, in clinic, at home, or via telehealth.
Voice therapy
Natalie is a certified LSVT LOUD® and SPEAK OUT!® provider using , two of the leading programs specifically designed to improve speech clarity and vocal loudness in Parkinson's disease.
Better Conversations with Parkinson's (BCP)
Natalie is trained in Better Conversations with Parkinson's, an evidence-based communication training program for people with Parkinson's and their partners. Rather than focusing on speech alone, BCP builds practical, everyday communication strategies — helping reduce the barriers that can make conversations feel harder than they should, and boosting confidence and quality of life for both partners.
Expiratory Muscle Strength Training (EMST)
EMST is an evidence-based therapy that supports swallowing and airway protection — an area that's often overlooked in Parkinson's care but can make a significant difference to safety and confidence around eating and drinking. For people with Parkinson's, EMST can help:
Improve swallow safety
Increase cough strength and effectiveness
Improve airway protection
Support better management of saliva and secretions
Complement other swallowing and voice therapies
