Funding and Referrals

Private / Self-funded
You're welcome to book privately without a referral. Private health insurance may offer a partial rebate depending on your extras cover — check with your provider for your speech pathology benefit.

Medicare
If you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on a portion of your session fee. You'll need a referral from your GP before your first appointment. Fees are paid on the day and the rebate is claimed afterwards.

NDIS
I work with NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. I do not see participants who are agency-managed. If you're not sure how your plan is managed, your support coordinator or plan manager can confirm this for you.

DVA
I accept DVA Gold Card and White Card holders with an approved condition — a referral from your GP is required.

iCare
I'm a registered iCare provider, supporting people recovering from a workplace injury, motor vehicle accident, or under Lifetime Care. Sessions are usually arranged through your case manager, who can confirm your approved treatment plan before your first appointment.
